8:30 a.m. – First alarm sounds. (Oh, naïve Keegan.)
9:23 a.m. – But, actually, time to get up.
9:40 a.m. – Emails checked in bed? Done.
9:45 a.m. – Freshen up… some hair wetting may be required.
9:52 a.m. – Walk to Noyce. (“Let’s make some Noyce” – shout out to Pun Club!!)
10:00 a.m. – Intro. Psychology with the fabulous Professor Gibson!
10:50 a.m. – Class terminates, off to Religious Studies in the United States.
11:00 a.m. – Religious Studies 102 with Professor Rietz! Another phenomenal professor with riveting class discussion.
11:50 a.m. – Class terminates, off to lunch. (So, I invested in this rice cooker/veggie steamer and it’s so easy to use – sometimes I opt for this when I’m pressed for time.) If not, lunch with Ryan [Hung ‘18]and Jeff [Li ‘18], Noma [Shields ‘18] and Helena [Alacha ‘18], and my JaMaFam just to name af ew! If I’m at the Dining Hall, I can see the amazing Connie and the fab folks at the Welcome Desk!
12:25 p.m. (approximation) – Can I sneak in an episode of The Office?
12:46 p.m. – Can I sneak in another episode? NO.
12:47 p.m. – Refresh the email account. Ensure that coursework is ready for Statistics.
12:55 p.m. – Coursework as needed!
2:30 p.m. – Introduction to Statistics with the awesome Professor Olsen! Hoping everything that came clearly to me in class will remain that way when I start my assignment…
5:00 p.m. – Hit the gym, take pride in those nonexistent muscles and catch up on local news on one of the upstairs televisions.
6:02 p.m. – Shower and quick dash to the Dining Hall!
6:45 p.m. – Done with dinner if done efficiently.
7:08 p.m. – Done with dinner if talking with friends.
7:43 p.m. – Done with dinner and not ready to confront the work that awaits.
8:02 p.m. – Lay out homework, prioritize and get started…
8:03 p.m. – Wait! Did I respond to all my emails?
8:04 p.m. – Yes, go do work.
8:05 p.m. – Terminus of day: Homework is conducted either in Burlz (Burling) or Noyce. Might need to dash inbetween the two to ensure I have the right books held on reserve in Burling and Kistle, respectively. YouTube breaks are obviously compulsory, and Diet Pepsi will be flowing. Off to bed I go. It’s been a good day!
