6:30 a.m.—My alarm goes off. It won’t shut up so eventually I give in, get up and walk from Lazier to Kershaw (Stay tuned to find out why I’m making these moves). Once in Kershaw, I get in the shower and play my morning jams (they’re the most excitement Kershaw sees).

7:00 a.m.—Still getting beautiful and still making some morning noise.

8:00 a.m.—Calculus kicks my butt for 50 minutes while my stomach growls at me.

8:50 a.m.—I run for the eggs to order line with my breakfast bud, Ifetayo Olutosin ’18. While in line I make a feeble attempt to finish my Chinese homework for my 10 a.m. class.

9:30 a.m.—Things get messy as I stuff my face and write down Chinese characters.

10:00 a.m.—I run to my 10 a.m. Get there, avoid eye contact and strap in for the rough Chinese ride.

10:50 a.m.—Standing in the sun, while it’s still able to provide some warmth, Lily Ge ’17 and I have a decompression session.

11:00 a.m.—I reward myself with a nap, hoping that when I wake up it’s the same day.

12:30 p.m.—I arise from the dead, try to make myself look somewhat presentable again and head to lunch.

12:45 p.m.—I stuff my face again, fully aware that the freshman 15 is coming for me.

1:00 p.m.—After lunch, I make my way to Cleve Second to do Econ (waste time) with my bud Harry Dillman ’18.

2:05 p.m.—I cry internally, as Harry and I walk to class because I know there won’t be a thing I understand.

2:35 p.m.—The professor is talking about monopolies, while I’m still trying to understand supply and demand.

3:05 p.m.—I walk to the Grill for some nectar of the gods, a.k.a. coffee. Sorry for that Grecian allusion, too much tutorial with Bea Herce-Hagiwara ’18, one of my funniest friends.

4:00 p.m.—If you couldn’t already guess by looking at my fit body, I am a lifeguard. I guard the swim teams’ lives during this time.

7:00 p.m.—Now, my shift is over. I drag myself to the DHall, make myself an unhealthy meal and grab some spinach so I don’t hate myself for the rest of the day. I look for people to sit with, find no one, spot the swimmers, decide they owe me for my previous services and finally sit down with what’s left of the team.

8:00 p.m.—Homework in my room.

9:00 p.m.—Homework in my room.

10:00 p.m.—I head over to Cleve Second to legally, safely and appropriately turn up.

1:00 a.m.—I make my way home to my wifeys Jocelyn Acosta ’16 and Roselle [Tenorio] ’17 (in Lazier). I make a mess trying to eat their tortillas and cheese, Jocelyn then tucks me into bed while Roselle puts on Netflix (yesterday our Netflix feature film was “Brokeback Mountain”), I pass out within 30 minutes as I’m cuddling with my girls and hope my alarm will wake me up the next morning.
