Recently, while traveling along the United States/Mexico border with his boyfriend, Dani Zamora ’08 was detained and questioned by border patrol agents. He was deported to Mexico and remains there today. While weighing his legal options, Zamora finds himself struggling to pay the fees associated with challenging his deportation.
“He is now reaching out to us with his story and updates via email and Facebook, especially those connected with Posse and the College for help,” said Elena Bernal, VP and Chief Diversity officer.
