Ever wanted to know what D-Hall’s going to have for food next week? Too lazy to check NetNutrition? Don’t know what NetNutrition is? Are you into the predictive and suggestive nature of astrology but just pretend to know what “Libra rising” means? Look no further!
Friday, September 13th
Lunch — Even for the meat-eaters in the mix, this reviewer suggests spicy chickpea samosas from the Vegan station for a quick n’ easy bite.
Dinner — Get the roasted brussels sprouts from Plat du Jour or Vegan for a healthy alternative to the Honor G Grill’s fries of the night. To replicate the far-superior fried brussels sprouts, mix some sriracha from the Vegan station with mayonnaise to create an elegant dipping sauce.
Saturday, September 14th
Breakfast — If you chose to venture out of your room for Saturday breakfast, definitely hit the pastry station for Boston cream donuts.
Lunch — As someone who is well-acquainted with the Saturday pizza lunch shift, this reviewer suggests watching them cook the eggs for the egg, prosciutto, and spinach pizza in the pizza oven.
Dinner — Fill up before Bad Girls Gardner with a surprisingly thick Caribbean chicken soup and the side of orzo from Plat.
Sunday, September 15th
Lunch/Brunch — Pre-toast a bagel to your preferred crunchiness and use that at the Deli station instead of bread. Add sprouts to make it look extra healthy.
Dinner — Two words: Sunday sundaes! Limitless possibilities!
Monday, September 16th
Breakfast — Waffle bar, light on the frozen fruit. Get your sugar from whipped cream instead.
Lunch — Get the spicy vegan lo mein for a solid stand-by, or perhaps a nice soup for a warm Monday pick-me-up.
Dinner — Hands down, wait in line for a melt-in-your-mouth chicken club Caesar sandwich. Add in the chocolate cake with peanut butter frosting for an absolutely nutty Monday!
Tuesday, September 17th
Breakfast — Have the chocolate zucchini bread and sneak out some extra for a little midday snack.
Lunch — Treat yourself to stir fry! It’s going to be a winning day with the sweet and spicy sesame sauce.
Dinner — It’s a good night at D-Hall with a can’t-miss grilled tavern club sandwich: a surefire savory success. Don’t overlook the Palak paneer pizza or the rosemary and garlic bread at the soup station, either.
Wednesday, September 18th
Breakfast — If you’re not on a full meal plan … this might be one to skip.
Lunch — Double up on carbs with elbow macaroni from sauté and shoestring fries, which are probably at least a silver level D-Hall fry.
Dinner — Get the great combo of a Cuban sandwich and onion rings, both from my favorite establishment, the Honor G Grill. Dessert does not always come from expected places, so wander over to the pizza station for their caramel apple selection.
