On Friday, Sept. 24, the Grinnell high school football team, the Tigers, played Washington Demons at the homecoming game. Graduating seniors Brady Stewart, Josh Osborne, Cole Johnson and Calvin Jaworski helped lead their team to a 35-14 win against the Demons. Prior to the game, students, families and fans gathered downtown to cheer on the Homecoming parade. S&B photographer, Natalia Ramirez Jimenez was able to attend and take photos. During the day on Friday, seniors Josh Osborne and Kae Widener were crowned King and Queen in an all-school assembly.
