A Day in the Life – Sarah Burnell ’14

6:30 a.m.—Wake up, think about going for a run, go back to bed.
7:15 a.m.—Wake up again to Carmen Nelsen’s [’14] music. Oh, how we all love Drake.
7:45 a.m.—Drink two cups of coffee and eat an orange.
8:00 a.m.—Go to Statistics. Maybe sleep a little bit there too…
9:00 a.m.—Go to Psychology.
9:30 a.m.—Think I might freeze in the basement of Noyce.
10:00 a.m.—Go to Global Development Studies.
10:02 a.m.—What? You already lost me.
11:00 a.m.—Go to the Grill and talk to my girls.
11:45 a.m.—Lunch outside.
12:30 p.m.—Sit outside and watch the squirrels.
1:30 p.m.—Still watching the squirrels.
2:00 p.m.—Visit my mom, Sondi Burnell, in Goodnow and eat her candy that’s in the bowl on her desk.
3:00 p.m.—Head to the Bear to do therapy exercises and visit [Priscilla Lowther, Physical Education] for a nice chat …
3:30 p.m.—Lift weights while looking in the mirror and hope my muscles will grow.
3:45 p.m.—Run a few warm up miles (2-3) because I didn’t run in the morning.
4:30 p.m.—Core and warm-up dynamics with Evelyn [Freeman] at practice. Enough said.
5:10 p.m.—Do a six-mile run while chatting with people.
6:00 p.m.—Drink as much Gatorade as I can before I think I’ll vomit.
6:03 p.m.—Do more core, water pumps, and stretch.
6:30 p.m.—Sit in an ice bath (50 degree water) with Meg Rudy ’14.
6:38 p.m.—In a great deal of pain.
6:45 p.m.—Finish showering with my BEASTS (the cross country women).
7:15 p.m.—Dinner. Yes.
8:00 p.m.—Go to Burling.
10:15 p.m.—A quick trip to Bob’s for a tea party.
11:00 p.m.—Sleep.
