8:00 a.m.—Alarm goes off. Hit snooze about five times.
8:30 a.m.—Realize that snooze is no longer an option if I want to stay in school …
8:40 a.m.—Head out of Clark for breakfast.
8:45 a.m.—Plastic eggs and quiche are better than expected. Half decent, 6/10.
8:54 a.m.—Head over to Carnegie for Econ. Seminar in Crime.
8:59:59 a.m.—Got to class early. Nailed it. E-z p-z, 10/10.
9:30 a.m.—Ponder about the meaning/value of life. And by that I mean a statistical life in which we take into consideration the utility gained over the course of an average life, the utility gained by the family or friends of that life and the productivity gained by society by that life. Econ is deep. $7 million/$7 million.
10:40 a.m.—Walk back to dorm to chill with Grace Bell ’17.
11:25 a.m.—Instead, spent the next half hour trying to wake up two sleepyheads and get one to lunch.
11:30 a.m.—Head over to lunch at the JRC. It has to be better than breakfast?
11:35 a.m.—Holy Baked Ziti … that Plat du Jour line is ridiculous. Are the dish line workers at the back of that line? I’m sorry, but the opportunity cost of waiting in that line is not worth the benefit.
12:00 p.m.—Work on Econ. Seminar in Education presentation with Micah Iticovici ’16. Generally satisfied with our PowerPoint and my decision to attend college.
1:05 p.m.—Start outlining the NUEL Hearthstone Spring Tournament Week 1 Recap (shameless promotion intended, follow our action on Twitch, Facebook and Twitter).
2:00 p.m.—Sickest econ. presentation in the world. Killed it, 10/10.
3:50 p.m.—Contemplate working out or taking a nap as I walk back to Clark.
4:05 p.m.—Check emails. Decide that if I were to work out, I should’ve gone at four. That ship has long sailed.
5:30 p.m.—Wake up to Grace trying to convince me to go to dinner. Deja vu?
6:05 p.m.—Walk to dinner as I ponder how even though we have some really terrible weather, we are still the only living planet for light years around…
6:10 p.m.—Have dinner with friends from Clark, Gates, Haines … That’s a lot of places … #2BlockCampus
7:10 p.m.—Head back to my room. Almost kill myself slipping on ice on Mac Field. 0/1, would not recommend.
7:15 p.m.—Review some stats chapters as I Skype chat with some friends from back home.
8:30 p.m.—Work on some job applications. Anyone wanna hire an actuary in a few months? Seriously, please hit me up (even more shameless promotion intended).
9:20 p.m.—Work on some awesome mashups with Grace. 11/10, would sing again.
11:00 p.m.—Get ready for bed.
1:30 a.m.—Actually fall asleep.
