7:00 a.m.—Drag my feet back into my room, drenched in sweat, I feel like Morris Chestnut. #moviestardixon
7:05 a.m.—Tap my laptop screen until it starts working.
7:10 a.m.—Laptop still not working, go shower and brush teeth.
7:20 a.m.—Laptop finally working, play Migos at deafening volumes, put on laid-out outfit. I look good.
7:22 a.m.—Sound of music pisses one of my roommates, Jonathan Braun ’17, off.
7:30 a.m.—Walk into breakfast like Kanye, hurry up with my croissant.
8:02 a.m.—Walk into my 8 a.m., Symbolic Logic. ~(P v Q) and stuff like that.
9:00 a.m.—HIS-214, American Civil War and Reconstruction, same old story. We know the North wins.
10:00 a.m.—Watch The Sopranos in Burling basement.
11:00 a.m.—Go to Econ 282, Macroeconomics: GDP, CPI, ETC, EFC, but I’m east side crazy.
12:00 p.m.—Go to lunch, my roommate has a conversation with me about the loud music, I tell him I won’t be loud again in the mornings, but deep in his heart, he knows I will again. #Heartlessdixon
1:30 p.m.—Go to the OIEL (Office of Intercultural Engagement and Leadership) and make Nilob Nahib ’13’s job harder.
2:00 p.m.—Go to the library and study. #scholardixon
3:00 p.m.—Remember that I watched The Sopranos earlier, go to office hours and make my professor an offer he can’t refuse about the last problem set. #dixonsoprano
3:05 p.m.—The offer is refused, I get my questions answered.
4:30 p.m.—Go to the CLS (Center for Careers, Life and Services) and get my resume torn apart.
5:00 p.m.—Sit in the Grill and do some more studying. #scholardixon
6:00 p.m.—Go to dinner with Terrell James ’15 and Salena Tucker ’15, argue with Terrell about sports the whole time.
7:00 p.m.—Meet with Nicole Albrecht ’16 about Class Ambassador stuff.
7:30 p.m.—Study some more. #Scholar
9:00 p.m.—Check into Campus Security, about to lock up ARH. #OfficerDixon (Study on the Job)
10:00 p.m.—Go lift and run some more.
1:00 a.m.—Check out of security.
1:15 a.m.—Come back into my dorm to see rabbits, mice and cats roaming the hallway. Feels like Noah’s Ark.
1:30 a.m.—Listen to some of my other roommates Greg Margida’s ’16 music (a.k.a. Young Eddy’s new tracks).
2:15 a.m.—Fall asleep watching The Sopranos.
