We would like to thank the Faulconer Gallery for their outstanding exhibit “Water” by Edward Burtynsky and most especially thank Ivy [Shuster] in the Music Dept. who secured a wheelchair from the gallery for my husband to use so that he could get from our car to the exhibit and around the gallery while he is unable to walk on his left foot. She even arranged for us to take the wheelchair to the Rosenfield Center where we attended the Symposium on Drone warfare and to leave it there to be picked up the next day. She went above and beyond and gave us a great feeling about Grinnell College. We were impressed with the Symposium and with the feel of campus life. Having attended conferences at Grinnell in the summer with the Episcopal Diocese of Iowa, it was different with students actually present. What a lively place and what a recommendation for the value of a liberal arts college.
