This one is pretty self explanatory. The muppets are a staple of many people’s childhoods, and I think pretty much every character is extremely lovable.
Aries (March 21 – April 19): Gonzo
Gonzo is a classic, even though we don’t know what his species is. He’s passionate about doing stunts, which I think Aries would do if they were muppets. As a person, it’s a little riskier.
Taurus (April 20 – May 20): Rowlf the Dog
Rowlf is sweet and cute, but his talent is not to be discounted. He’s the pianist that keeps the show together, and he remains calm in the face of mayhem. He was also the first muppet to be regularly featured on network television!
Gemini (May 21 – June 21): Dr. Teeth
Who better than Gemini to be the groovy vocalist and keyboardist of the Muppets’ house band? I would love to hang out with any member of Dr. Teeth and the Electric Mayhem. They seem really cool, especially their gravelly voiced leader.
Cancer (June 22 – July 22): Kermit the Frog
This is a huge honor. Who doesn’t love Kermit? Emotionally intelligent, gentle, musically gifted and anxious as hell. This is one tender frog, and I think Cancers could also be described as such.
Leo (July 23 – August 22): Fozzie Bear
Perhaps not the most successful comedian, but he tries his best and that in itself is lovely and charming. Fozzie’s mediocre jokes don’t make him any less lovable, nor any less integral to the whole muppet gang.
Virgo (August 23 – September 22): Dr. Bunsen Honeydew
Intellectual, but absentminded at times and a little silly. Virgos get a reputation for being too serious, but that’s not entirely true! They indulge in some wacky experiments, much like Bunsen. Just make sure to go easy on Beaker.
Libra (September 23 – October 23): Janice
She’s the valley girl muppet, the laidback lead guitarist of Dr. Teeth and the Electric Mayhem. Apparently her appearance was based on Mick Jagger, her personality on Joni Mitchell, and her name on Janis Joplin. None of them are Libra suns, but I’d like to believe they have some Libra placements.
Scorpio (October 24 – November 21): Miss Piggy
I bet no one expected this, but I think it’s really true! She embodies feminine strength, in a way. But she’s also really possessive over Kermit, a trait Scorpios are known for.
Sagittarius (November 22 – December 21): Animal
Animal was described by an author as a “carnivorous beast” and a “physical manifestation of pure libido.” That’s weird! He’s a kids character. I think of him mostly as just wild and fun, and he’s a third member of the Electric Mayhem.
Capricorn (December 22 – January 19): Sam Eagle
I don’t think every Capricorn is as patriotic as Sam, but something about his face, his voice, his coloring, makes me think of Capricorns. Sam Eagle is serious but not harsh and quite disciplined in his manner.
Aquarius (January 20 – February 18): Beaker
Beaker is a little meek, but he makes himself heard. He expresses himself without speaking, which I think is something Aquarians would do if they could. Poor guy. Justice for Beaker.
Pisces (February 19 – March 20): The Swedish Chef
This is just a weird guy, and probably offensive to Swedish people. But I think his weirdness is what makes him special, and that’s also true for Pisces.
