Grinnell Arts Center hosts Artist Salon featuring works by Grinnell students

The Stewart Gallery is now displaying works by Grinnell College art majors in an exhibition that runs from Friday, Feb. 16 to Saturday, March 16. 

Located in the Grinnell Arts Center in downtown Grinnell at 926 Broad St., this artist salon — the second annual showcase of work by students of the College — held an opening reception this past Friday featuring talks and presentations from the artists. 

Sponsored by individual donors to the Grinnell Area Arts Council, the gallery offers free admission. Its hours run from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Tuesday through Friday during the week and 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Saturdays. 

The student artists involved include Kelly Banfield `24, Liv Hage `26, Jenara Kim-Prieto `24, Ivan Kwei `24, Henry Loomis `26, Kesiya Park `26, Kathryn Vermeulen `24 and Sophie Youngdahl `24.
