7:12 a.m.—Wake up, groggy, immediately turn on music, shower if I haven’t the night before.
7:25 a.m.—Hop out of the shower, put on the outfit I have put out the night before.
7:30 a.m.—Dip to DHall for breakfast (coffee with almond milk, Plat if it’s good, otherwise, granola with yogurt.)
7:53 a.m.—Out to Professor Chan’s International Economics with the good man Rick Johnson ‘20.
8 a.m.—Class, good times. Fun fact: Did you know Mexico had a “Tequila Crisis” in 1994?
9 a.m.— CS 151 with Professor Sam Rebelsky. For those familiar with Harry Potter, if you think closely, you will find striking similarities between Sam and Professor Dumbledore.
10 a.m.—Applied Stats with Prof. Fellers and my good friend Max Hill ‘20. So many fun facts to choose from …
11:30 a.m.—Converse with homies in Laurel Leaf, head to lunch.
12 p.m.—Lunch. Highly recommend the white pepper from the spice rack, provides multi-dimensional flavor.
1 p.m.—Miscellaneous tasks. e.g. Fold clothes whilst listening to podcast on biostatistics, nap, read not for class. The Undoing Project by Michael Lewis, fantastic read. Or do some class reading or drawing homework. Probably the latter. If it were a Tuesday or Thursday, drawing with Lee Running, highly recommended course, learn to draw, see and art.
4 p.m.—Work at the ITS Service Desk with James Msekela ‘20, who has Grinnell’s loudest laugh by far.
5:30 p.m.—Racquetball or ISC. If anyone wants to get better at the former, talk to Blake Rish ’18, amazing instructor.
7:30 p.m.—Dinner.
8 p.m.—Shower, then head to Noyce for work.
8:30 p.m.—Work Either on Stats with Max Hill ’20, CS with my partner, or Econ with Mukund Kalani ‘20, Rick Johnson ’20, Pratik Karki ’20 and Tom Leistikow ’20. Other than Econ, most of this goes on in Stats Lab, with my brother Jason Cho ‘18 just across the room, who comes over from time to time to shoot the shit and discuss the weekend/take a study break.
12 a.m.—Brush teeth, maybe call the family if it’s been a while, they are just heading to bed, 2 hours behind out west. Pick tomorrow’s clothes. Then get those good REM cycles.
