On Thursday, Oct. 2, the International Student Organization (ISO) hosted their first event of the year, Around The World with ISO. It was a table-walk that included 14 food tables, all representing other multicultural student groups.
Tables covered in flag tablecloths, there were various activities going on for people to experience different parts of the cultures. All the cultural tables offered free snacks based on the country’s culture, but a few also offered other cultural facts and upcoming events.
At the peak hour of around 5:30 p.m., over 50 people — students, faculty and other Grinnell community members — were exploring the tables hosted by international student representatives.
