Women’s tennis sets the tone with two easy victories

Women’s tennis has started their spring season strong with two back-to-back wins against Ottawa University of Kansas and Macalester College. 

The Pioneers overcame Ottawa University 6-3 in an easy win on Feb. 17 at home, and quickly followed it up with a 7-2 win over Macalester College the next day in St. Paul, Minn. Grinnell swept the doubles matches in both meets. 

The Pioneers will next face Morningside University at home this Saturday at 12 p.m. in the Charles Benson Bear `39 Recreation and Athletic Center Field House.
