4:45 a.m. — Crawl—I mean jump—out of bed. Hope that I don’t fall asleep in the shower!
5:15 a.m. — Start looking for something to bring to work for breakfast and lunch. Yep! Yogurt and leftover Hamburger Helper and an apple. Same thing almost everyday—boring.
6:00 a.m. —Leave home to drive to Grinnell from Malcom.
6:15 a.m. — Pick up Dot—a friend who doesn’t have car—so that she can use my car today.
6:20 a.m. — Dot dropped me off. Start my day by unlocking all classrooms and checking JRC 101 for the set-ups for the day.
7:00 a.m. — Return to desk-take down old posters—tell students “Good Morning” even if they don’t want to hear that it’s the morning already.
12:00 p.m. — Eat lunch for one hour then return to desk.
2:30 p.m. —Helped a lady from Posse D.C. get a password to get on-line (what a process).
3:30 p.m. — Dot picks me up and I take her home.
3:40 p.m. —Stop at the grocery store for things my mom needs (she doesn’t drive anymore).
4:00 p.m. — Go to Walmart for mom’s medicine and then go to Malcom and deliver it to her.
5:00 p.m. — Get home. Do laundry. Do dishes and fix supper.
8:00 p.m. — Watch whichever CSI is on or Halloween movie or read a book.
10:00 p.m. — Wake son up for work. Fix his lunch, etc.
12:00 a.m. — Go to bed!
